Edition 4/20 of my limited edition sculpture of this window from Kilcooley Abbey, Co. Tipperary is now available to purchase.
The frame is 40cm x 46cm x 4cm (15.7” x 11” x 1.5”).
This piece was sculpted in wax and clay, then moulded, cast, painted and framed. The casting of each piece makes all 20 pieces related, but, like siblings each has it’s own personality and imperfections which make it unique.
I really enjoy the sculpture element of my work but each piece I paint is influenced by my mood, the light and the weather outside. Some are sunny and bright and some are rainy and moody.

One of the main reasons I was drawn to make this window in particular, is the layers of arches that the window sits under. It shows how many times the building was altered over the years. It’s like a tree trunk when you cut into it and you can see the rings of it’s life exposed.
The frame is 40cm x 46cm x 4cm (15.7” x 11” x 1.5”).
This sculpture of Kilcooley Abbey is a limited edition of 20 pieces, all made in my studio in the West of Ireland. Each piece is made individually so the colours and finish of each piece will vary. The photos are of edition 4 of 20.
Shipping within Ireland costs €8 with An Post, parcels are tracked and delivery is usually within 2-3 working days. (Christmas shipping schedules may have longer delivery periods.)
Shipping outside Ireland costs €60 using the postal service, parcels are tracked. Delivery to the USA takes 3-4 weeks on average. Please note that all shipments going outside the EU may be liable for import duties.
