Drawings

This is my first collection of original drawings. Each piece began not with a blank page, but with paint- either intentional watercolour marks or splashes, spills and splodges that ran off my sculptures as I was painting them. Rather than discarding them, I worked with these ghostly marks using a fine liner to create these works. 

These drawings are an extension of my sculptural practice, exploring other possibilities and the connection between my sketchbooks and what I create. How the two can be combined. 

Thank you for exploring this new direction in my work, I have thoroughly enjoyed creating them.
